1.  A BRIEF DEFINITION OF THE TERM ‘PERSONAL DATA'

All references to ‘personal data' refer to any personal information about a natural person which enables that individual to be identified directly or indirectly by reference to the data provided.

2. REGISTRATION

In order to use our web site a user must have an account with us.  New users may register by clicking the link on our homepage which reads ‘Register Now'.

2.2 Before your first payout is allowed, you may be asked to send us a copy of an official document which includes a photograph of yourself (e.g. passport, identity document), either by fax (+356 25401255) or as a scan by e-mail to documents@expekt.com . Once we confirm the accuracy of your details the payment in question will be processed. We also reserve the right to request further information and documentation regarding your age, identity and place of residence following any deposits or prior to any withdrawals in order to prove your identity. When we request documentation from our customers we direct our customers to send such documentation to documents@expekt.com. We recommend that customers send us their official personal identification documents upon opening an account. Customers wishing to send us such documents of their own freewill may do so by emailing them to documents@expekt.com

2.3 Your winnings and cash-outs are kept strictly confidential and the information is stored in secure operating environments. We do not divulge your winnings information to third parties unless such information disclosure to competent authorities is required by law.

3. PERSONAL DATA

3.1 PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA PROVIDED BY THE CUSTOMER

1. Any information and personal details which identify you or make you easily identifiable as an individual is known as, and shall hereinafter be referred to as, your ‘personal data'.

ALTHOUGH WE TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PRIVACY POLICY OF THESE COMPANIES, WE ENDEAVOUR TO ALWAYS CHOOSE RELIABLE AND PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES.
4. We make it a point to inform our customers whenever their information is being collected by third parties on our web site. We consider it to be essential for our customers to be informed at all times so that there are always in a position to make an informed choice as to whether or not to proceed with a service which requires sharing of personal data with a third party.
5. We will use your information only in so far as is necessary for us to comply with technical or legal requirements.
6. We use the email address which you have provided us to send you an email welcoming you to Expekt. As our member we may send you e-mail from time to time containing information on various matters ranging from special promotions to technical and other information relating to our services.
7. Should you wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list you can either change your account settings or click “unsubscribe” in the bottom of the email.
8. Please note that we may from time to time send out service related emails announcing for instance a temporary suspension of one or more of our services due to maintenance. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO NOT OPT OUT OF RECEIVING THESE TYPES OF EMAILS.

3.2  THE INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

1. The personal data submitted by our customers may be stored and/or processed in any country in which we or our affiliates, suppliers, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities.
2. By accepting this Privacy Policy you give your consent to the transfer of your personal data outside your country.  Expekt is committed to take all necessary steps to ensure that whenever personal data is transferred such transfer takes place solely within Expekt's group of companies where the standards of privacy and confidentiality should be of an acceptable standard irrelevant of location.

3.3   CORRECT OR AMEND YOUR PERSONAL DATA

a.  As our customer you are entitled to correct any data which is inaccurate or outdated.  Kindly send an email to support@expekt.com with reference to which data you would like to amend and we endeavour to process your request within the shortest possible time.

3.4  PROCESSING OF OTHER DATA

1. We trace the IP address of our customers and use it in order to provide you with a better technical service.
2. We track your IP address against your user identification in order to prevent fraudulent activities and also to create an audit trail.

3.5  AMENDMENTS TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
   a. We shall inform you of any changes to our privacy policy either by means of an email or by a statement on our homepage or elsewhere on our web site.  Personal data will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy in force at the time when such data was first collected.

3.6  CHANGES IN OUR COMPANY/BUSINESS STRUCTURE
a. Should Expekt Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited or the group of companies of which Expekt Gaming (Gibraltar) Limited forms part undergo any changes to their company structure such as a merger, acquisition by another company or a partial acquisition it is most likely that our customer's personal data will be included within the sale or transfer.  We will as part of our policy inform our customers by email prior to affecting such transfer of the personal data.

3.7   AGE RESTRICTIONS

1. Expekt is committed to responsible gaming and the protection of minors and hence it is not allowed for anyone under 18 years (or more if the lawful age of the particular jurisdiction exceeds 18 years of age) of age to become our customer.  In this regard we will take all steps which we consider necessary in order to verify the age of a potential customer including requests for further documentation.
2. ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS FOUND TO BE GAMBLING ON EXPEKT SHALL HAVE ALL HIS WINNINGS FORFEITED AND HIS ACCOUNT SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY BLOCKED.
3. Expekt reserves the right to conduct a security review to validate your identity and your age and to ensure that your use of our service is not in breach of our terms and conditions of use or of applicable law.
4. Acceptance of our Privacy Policy authorises us to conduct such security reviews which may include ordering of credit reports or verification of the information supplied by you against third party databases. 

3.8 LEGAL DISCLAIMER RE PRIVACY POLICIES OF THIRD PARTIES

a. Expekt shall in no manner whatsoever be held responsible for the manner in which third parties       process the personal data of our customers.
b. Expekt shall only be responsible for its own privacy policy and it does not warrant the standard of   the privacy policies of any of the third parties who may have links placed on our site.
c. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT WHEN YOU LEAVE OUR SITE YOU GO THROUGH THE PRIVACY POLICY OF THE NEW SITES YOU HAVE ENTERED.

3.9   RECOMMENDATION TO REFRAIN FROM DIVULGING PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

a. We strongly recommend that you do not divulge your personal data to strangers or third parties during chat rooms.  Remember that your personal data is sensitive and stop and think before passing on information which you may come to regret.
b. We strongly recommend that you do not choose your username as your alias.  It is advisable for your alias to be different to your user name.

3.10 CLOSING AN ACCOUNT WITH US

a. As our customer you may close your account with us at any time.
b. You must first withdraw any existing funds from your account and then send an email to support@expekt.com requesting us to close your account.
c. Following closure of your account we will retain your personal data on record for as long as required by law. We shall only use your data should this be required by authorities in cases of fraud or other illegal activity.  This will be the sole exception to use of your personal data until its complete deletion from our records.

3.11  CLOSING A CUSTOMER'S ACCOUNT

 a. Expekt reserves the right to close any account at any given time for any reason in order to perform necessary investigations.  Following the outcome of the investigation we shall in our absolute discretion, either keeps the account closed and/or provide you with information as to the investigation and/or re-open the account.

4. UNLAWFUL ACTIONS AND TRANSACTIONS
a. Expekt shall take measures against any person found cheating or attempting to cheat or defraud Expekt or any of Expekt's customers or any other person using the services provided by Expekt.  Cheating and defrauding shall be inclusive of but not limited to fraudulent payment, use of stolen credit cards, unauthorised chargeback or other reversal of a payment, money laundering or any other unlawful transaction.

5.  SECURITY PROCEDURES

Profile
We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users that detail their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the user's personally identifiable information to provide offers and improve the content of the site for the user. This profile is used to tailor a user's visit to our Web site and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to them. We do not share your profile with other third parties.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. IP addresses are tied to personally identifiable information to enable our Web-based service.

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
Our third party advertising company employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. The main difference between the two is that clear gifs are invisible on the page and are much smaller, about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Clear gifs are not tied to users' personally identifiable information.
Clear Gifs can "work with" existing cookies on a computer if they are both from the same Web site or advertising company. That means, for example, that if a person visited "www.companyX.com", which uses an advertising company's clear gif, the advertising company would match the clear gif's identifier and the advertising company's cookie ID number, to show the past online behavior for that computer. This collected information would then be given to the advertising company.
In addition, we use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If users would like to opt-out of these emails, you can either change your account settings or click “unsubscribe” in the bottom of the email.

Security
This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line.

8. SPECIAL OFFERS, UPDATES & SURVEYS
a. If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address.  Should you not wish to receive these communications you can either change your account settings or click “unsubscribe” in the bottom of the email.

d. From time-to-time, our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name), and demographic information (such as zip code). Contact information will be used shared with the contest sponsors to notify the winners and award prizes. Anonymous Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site. e. If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's email address and we automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site.

a.  Expekt is committed to ensuring that its customers are protected in the best possible way by means of up to date security levels, however Expekt shall take no responsibility whatsoever for events beyond its control inclusive of but not limited to acts of god or natural disasters, including also power cuts and strikes.
b. We are sure that as our customer you understand the ever-changing nature of our business due to continuous technological novelties and although we endeavour to do our best to take all preventive measures to ensure the protection and privacy of your personal data at all times.  Nevertheless we cannot guarantee that the performance of our service will be free from error at all times.  Should any such error have an effect or consequence relating to the privacy of your personal data we shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever in damages or otherwise. 

10.  ACCEPTANCE OF OUR PRIVACY POLICY – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

a. Once you click ‘I Agree' you have unconditionally agreed to abide by and be bound by all clauses contained in our Privacy Policy and you will be deemed to have given your consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the terms set out in our Privacy Policy.
